With over 30 years’ experience in professional cuisine and management in the restaurant business, Joe Barza is internationally recognized as an expert in Lebanese gastronomy.
Joe Barza developed a consultancy project as a restaurateur and caterer, the “Joe Barza Culinary Consultancy” with a portfolio that includes over 100 local and international events for promoting Lebanese gastronomy. He has received numerous international awards and was the number one juror of the Emmy-winning TV show “Top Chef”, in its Middle Eastern version, in 2011. He’s acknowledged as one of the key people responsible for the world notoriety of Lebanese gastronomy.
Considered one of the great references of gastronomy in Portugal, José Avillez is renowned for his passion for cuisine and for his driven and entrepreneurial spirit. José Avillez has several restaurants in Lisbon and Porto, including Belcanto, distinguished with two Michelin stars.
